Cookie Policy
This policy explains how Rivoryn Limited (ConsentSignals) uses cookies and similar technologies on consentsignals.com.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. We also use similar technologies such as local storage for preferences you explicitly opt into.
Cookies we use
Strictly necessary (always active):
• Clerk authentication session — required to sign in and access your dashboard
• CSRF / security tokens — required for secure API communication
• Cookie consent record — stores your cookie choices
Analytics (opt-in only):
• PostHog (EU cloud host) — anonymous product usage events after you Accept or enable Analytics in the banner. No advertising profiles. No sale of data.
Preferences (opt-in only):
• Remember UI settings such as theme or last scanned URL
We do not use advertising, retargeting, or third-party marketing cookies.
Consent before non-essential cookies
In line with the ePrivacy Directive and GDPR, we do not set analytics or preference storage until you make a choice via the cookie banner. Strictly necessary cookies are required for authentication and security and cannot be disabled while using signed-in features.
You can change your preferences at any time by clearing site data and revisiting the banner, or by contacting privacy@consentsignals.com.
Third-party cookies
When you sign in, Clerk (our authentication provider) may set session cookies subject to Clerk's own privacy policy. Stripe sets cookies only during the checkout flow on their domain. We do not embed third-party advertising trackers on consentsignals.com.
How to control cookies
• Use the cookie banner on this site (Reject / Accept / Manage)
• Use your browser settings to block or delete cookies
• Sign out to clear Clerk session cookies
Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent you from signing in or using paid features.
Irish and EU law
This policy is governed by the ePrivacy Directive (2002/58/EC) as transposed in Ireland, and the GDPR (Regulation (EU) 2016/679). For questions about how we process personal data beyond cookies, see our Privacy Policy.
