Terms of Service

ConsentSignals is provided by Rivoryn Limited ("we", "us"), a company incorporated in Ireland. By using ConsentSignals you agree to these terms. The service provides automated scanning of publicly accessible URLs to generate compliance indicators. Results are informational only and do not constitute legal advice.

ConsentSignals is a B2B compliance audit tool for site operators, agencies, and privacy teams. You may only scan: • Websites you own or operate • Client websites where you hold explicit written authorisation from the site owner • Properties where you have completed DNS domain verification for authenticated or deep scans You must not: • Scan websites to rate whether content is appropriate for children to view (we are not a parental-control service) • Scan major third-party platforms without sign-in and written permission • Scan adult-content platforms (contact support for authorised enterprise audits) • Use the service for drive-by reconnaissance, competitive intelligence, or harassment • Attempt to reverse-engineer the scanning infrastructure or exceed plan rate limits • Resell raw scan data without a white-label agreement

ConsentSignals generates automated compliance indicators. Nothing produced by ConsentSignals constitutes legal advice, legal opinion, or a compliance certification. Regulatory risk bands are qualitative indicators only. You should consult a qualified data protection lawyer before making regulatory submissions or decisions based on ConsentSignals output.

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually. You can cancel at any time through your dashboard — your access continues until the end of the billing period. Refunds are at our discretion for annual plans cancelled within 14 days of purchase. Prices are exclusive of VAT where applicable. Irish VAT (23%) or your local EU VAT rate will be added at checkout where required.

The free tier allows 1 scan per day per IP address without sign-up. Signed-in free accounts receive up to 7 scans per month. Free scans show a preview (scores and counts); full tracker evidence, plain-language report tabs, and signed PDF require a paid plan. We reserve the right to limit, suspend, or require sign-up for the free tier at any time.

The ConsentSignals scanning methodology, RKB (Regulatory Knowledge Base), and audit report format are proprietary to Rivoryn Limited and protected by patent application S2026/0073 (IPOI, Ireland). Your scan results and audit PDFs are yours. You may share, publish, or submit them to regulators without restriction.

To the maximum extent permitted by Irish and EU law, Rivoryn Limited's total liability for any claim arising from your use of ConsentSignals is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for regulatory fines, penalties, or legal costs incurred as a result of relying on ConsentSignals output without independent legal review. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer protection law.

We may terminate or suspend your account for material breaches of these terms, non-payment, or misuse of the service. We will give 14 days' notice except where immediate termination is required to protect other users or the platform.

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts. If you are a consumer in the EU, you also have rights under applicable EU consumer protection legislation and may use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform.

We will give 30 days' notice of any material changes to these terms by email. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
